Dawns noisily while I think
About something someone said
(Nothing really relevant)
"The days are long but the
Years are short", I've found that to be true
I'm sitting here anticipating the day
While he stood across from me mourning the years
We must learn to live for both,
Because in living for days everything becomes
Tumultuous in the differing of suns
But in living for years we grow tired
From the sameness of the stars
The minutes drag out while I'm living now
Someday I will miss that,
But there's no time for nostalgia
And someday I will miss that as well--
